It's well known that the plastic front wheel on a C5 cannot handle long periods of strong braking, they tend to melt and are pretty useless on 24V systems.
A quick trip to a local car boot where there's always plenty of kids bikes going cheap, or in this case a scooter ready to donate it's wheels:

There we have it, the C5 is nearly ready for 24V
