I'm Mike I had a C5 about 7 years ago and then sold it and always regretted it so I now have another
Its a good one with very little use and unrestored, the body has practically no scuffs or marks, I think I probably paid top dollar but was happy to get the right one
I remember buying a special little mod years ago that along with a wider belt helped stopped the belt slipping ... I got it from C5 alive.... it was called something like anti slip bracket or something and made the motor more rigid and keep the belt tensioned better. Does anyone remember these ???

Other have used cable ties to achieve the same thing.

Hello Dan , there was someone who reproduced these a few years back, I remember having one and it worked really well.... bit of a mission to knock one up in a shed though with all those angles and measurments Is there anyone that still makes these
