Latest project! Have set about dismantling the C5 I bought a year ago to restore everything and get it going. Have taken the pedal cranks off but the protusion of the bottom bracket spindle fouls the bodyshell when trying to raise it from the chassis. Is the removal of the spindle necessary, or is there another way? Thanks in anticipation.

Remove the retaining cup from the right hand side, caution, the cup has a left hand thread.
