Hi all,

The motor has packed up on my c5 and wondered if there was a new similar motor on the market or if I would have to replace with a second hand motor?

Any info would be great

If the only way is to replace with a second hand motor does anyone have one spare for sale?

Hi there is probably nothing wrong with your motor
Other than brushes may be one is sticking
Try and pull the copper braid a few times on each brush
And the brushes should move freely in there boxes and maybe
You could polish the commutator this will help
Other than that there is not a lot to go wrong
I dout the armature will be at fault try moving
The brushes and then connect the motor
Direct across a battery

Your so helpfull area lol did you find me a motor mate ? Seen a motor at work out off a ride on pallet truck 48 volt trouble is how do I get it out without them noing at work

Found a motor yet it is difficult to get the motor gearbox
Combination right but I expect there is one out there

How fast is the pallet truck lol
