I'm looking to do a 24V conversion and would like to know what batteries others have used on their 24V conversions?

I have 2 12V LiFePO4 batteries I was just going to join together, but thought I'd get some info from others that have done this conversion.

Thanks!

Hi, dont use 2x lipos. You will need a 100amp diode, problem with this it causes problems with uni8's and other 24v controllers and makes the motor over run off throttle. If you choose not to have a diode then you run the chance of overcharge one cell to another and damage a cell or group. 24v lifepo4 are best from Ping abtter . Lie Ping is familiar with the type for most controllers are will make to the size you need. I have had many over the years building EBikes. M

Thank's for the info Marra, I 'll get in touch with Ping batteries then and get a quote from them. I might in the meantime get 2 lead acid batteries and use them with it.
