Hi all, my drive belt keep slipping so I replaced it as it was abit worn, so after putting a new one on its made no difference, the teeth on the motor seem fine, no different to my other c5's, the belts tight but just slips.

Hi Carl,

This is what I have done, it keeps the bracket lip against the motor and stops it slipping. I've done it on all my C5's.  I think in the 80's the Hoover engineers would put a metal bracket against the motor to achieve the same thing.  Is it only slipping at low speeds?
