Hi there Dan regarding the inserts what you get is the alloy insert with the toothed cog and the Large bearing fitted .What is not included are the 3 cogs and posts Also the outer plastic case is not included ..
Regarding the price they are £65.00 + £3.00 posting

I know that they seem expensive but they do not wear out And the teeth are about 20mm long and I have to have them made up to order ..

Yes you are right you have to use your own cogs and posts ..

I only have one left at the moment but if any one wants any you will have to let me know ....

Regarding the metal gearbox inserts ..The last one has been sold ...But I will be getting more made up next week ....

If its about mine, its drive gear not the gearbox insert, not steeling anyones thunder on that fella . Good piece though. M

Hi Marra I do realize that you are making the large drive gear cogs ...I have had them made myself but instead of 68 teeth(as the original)these one's had mine have 72 teeth and you have to get a belt to fit ...
Yours look great how many teeth have they got ???

Do you do any of these with a larger cog on the end? I assume a larger cog increases the top speed of the c5?

Hi Dan I can have any size made but you may find the belt will not fit you may have to have a longer belt but if you want one I could sort the bet for you no problem all I would need is how many teeth you want
Also an increase in speed will be less power

Hi sorry they have gone up to £75.00 the reason is that the alloy used to make them has gone up so the cost has been passed on to me
.So what I have done is to include the 3 posts and fitted them in the insert

Will this mod reduce belt slip on 24 v ?

Hi there Dave . Regarding belt slip there are a few things that cause belt slip
Teeth worn out
Belt worn
Belt not tight enough
Gear box drops of the lip that holds the motor up
Also accelerating to quick on the 24volt system
