It's a 24 volt motor you will see the diference ..the one on the left is the 24volt one (or the bottom one on the second photo)

If it's conected to 12 volts it will only go at half the speed of the original 12 volt motor ..The original metal casing was used for testing but not sure .The gearbox holder is not off the 24 volt motor just put it on to hold all together ..
